Sweet gestures likes this are so encouraging for small bloggers like me. Thank you so much Aswathy for nominating me for “the ideal inspiration blogger award“.
Below is few Q&A and a fun tag.
- How do you describe yourself as a blogger?
I always describe myself as an aspiring blogger. I have a lot to learn about the world of blogging.
2. Which is your favorite blog post written?
It describes one of the principles of Montessori that helps in changing parenting perspectives.
3. Who is your favorite motivational figure in blogging?
Nowadays I am inspired by all mom bloggers who share their experience. There is always something to learn from each one of them.
4. What are you so passionate about?
Currently itโs parenting and doing my best in upbringing my little one.
5. How has blogging become your passion?
I have always loved sharing my thoughts through writing. Back in school, it was through the old school diary, then wrote my ramblings as a college kid in livejournal. Now thankful for this space where I can share my motherhood journey.
Now on to the tag, without further adieu here they are:

- Warm feeling of being around loved ones and spending quality time with them.
It could be just chilling, playing a board game, watching a movie, doing a craft or reading with my little one. Being able to slow down and taking in these moments together is the best feeling in the world for me.
2. When my little one gives a hug or kiss for no reason without asking
She just melts my heart day in and day out. She also has this cute tone when she calls “ammeee” (mom) and my heart gets too happy hearing it ๐ (she also knows how to call in the annoying tone!)
3. Nostalgic feelings while visiting places that means a lot to me
Like my homeland Kerala, visiting the house I grew up in, or my school or my college or any place that has a happy memory attached.
4. Being able to provide value for someone
This was one of the reasons I chose a service oriented profession. I also get this feeling from motherhood. What better way to provide value to another life than by giving your life-time service.
5. Writing/Journaling
Journaling always has been therapeutic for me. I used to write when i wanted to vent and get my mind clear. Nowadays I still love doing that but I love writing to cherish these precious childhood days of my little one. I also love the feeling of looking back on old journal entries. It takes you back to that memory and lets you relive the moment.
6. Fresh feelings that comes with time in nature
A simple walk in the neighborhood, a scenic hike or just tending to my garden is all it takes to reset and refuel my soul.
7. Quietness of early mornings
Being able to sip my coffee when its still hot and just enjoy the little “me time”
8. Feeling of getting lost in a different world with a book
My reading pattern has changed a lot since having a baby. Now I alternate between motivational reads and parenting reads. I still love getting lost in a book even if its non-fiction.
9. Baking/cooking something special for someone
Love celebrating even the little milestones and half birthdays with a special dish or dessert. Even better is when I get to bake/cook with my little one (even though she makes it extra messy and time consuming). Check out our latest baking session here. I know these are the sweet moments I will cherish years down.
10. Writing to-do lists and checking them off
I am totally a list person just because I love the feeling of accomplishment from ticking off from a list. Even if I don’t get to do everything on my to-do list. When I have a lot going on in my days, writing it all down helps me have a visual plan of the day and brings my stress level down so much.
I had fun asking myself what my favorite feelings are, it helps to ask ourselves that question to remind and prioritize our time more to things that brings us joy.
Thank you again Aswathy for this awesome tag and award. I am so grateful when I get to meet and connect with awesome moms through here. Do check out her parenting blog: “Life with my little star”
